Running away from home isn't as hard as people set it up to be. In movies some kid or kids would come back miserable and crying. Now on her first week away from her home in hoenn, the thrill of being free still hadn't quite worn off. Somewhere along the way she managed to get her first pokemon, with a bit of help of coarse. The cross eyed thing was lazy though and was forever asleep in her pack or causing her trouble. At fist it irritated her, as it never listened to anything she said and had a number of bad habits, but it was quickly growing on her. The puppet pokemon was a good starting match for her, but she had already decided to stop by the pokemon lab to pick up her Nexivus starter. Well she would see if she still could. Shuppet, who she decided to name Blasphet not long after capture, refused to listen to any of her commands, so she thought maybe a actual starter would.. give her the experience she needed to get the shuppet to listen.
After a day of the shuppet eating anything it would get to, Risala finally stopped in front of what she was told was the pokemon lab. The ghost was in her pack sleeping while Risala was sweaty and feeling disgusted at the pure heat. Knocking at the door, she looked a bit eager to get out of the eat. The pale girls skin wasn't quite used to all the heat, she wasn't about to admit her discomfort. If she was going to complain about something like heat then she had no right to be here. She would just have to remember to dress lighter tomorrow. Then maybe go to the beach to cerebrate her official homelessness, and new life of wandering.
(crappy post is crappy... I hope its okay that I said she already had shuppet. I'm just trying to work in how she got it and stuff.)

NEXIVUS LABORATORIES Hawthorne paused, peering at the report she was writing. Words had begun to blur together. She rubbed her eyes, feeling overwhelmingly tired. She'd been awake for 37 hours now, in a desperate attempt to finish her report. Her brain felt numb and hazy, words were mixing together and the walls seemed to be moving ever so slightly. Dozens of cups of tea were scattered around the desk and on the floor, surrounded by open books with pencil scribbles in the margins. She still had a few hours to get this report done... But, she definitely needed a nap first. She'd reached the point of tiredness where all she could think of was sleep. In a daze, she stumbled over to the large sofa and curled up, pulling her lab coat over herself like a blanket. "Wake me up in half an hour, Lilac.. I need a.. a power nap.." She murmured to the Gardevoir who smiled affectionately and nodded. An hour later, the knock on the door startled Professor Hawthorne into awakeness. She yelped, looking at the gold watch on her wrist, "Why didn't you wake me sooner, Lilac!" She snapped, rolling off the chair and stumbling towards the door. She stood up straight, sweeping her hair into something a little neater and straightening out her skirt. She cleared her throat, opening the door and giving her best plastic smile. "Hi there, sweetheart. Welcome to Nexivus Laboratories, I'm Professor Hawthorne, how can I help you today?" She spoke quickly, trying to hide the fact that she'd just woken up. "Come in, come in." She said, gesturing for the girl to enter, "Daffodil, honey, can we please have some tea?" "Excuse the mess, I have a deadline fast approaching so that's taken priority over cleaning!" She laughed slightly, taking a cup of tea and nearly downing the whole of the steaming liquid. Feeling slightly less like a zombie, she smiled again, "What was it you were looking for?" ooc; having the shuppet already is fine, although you probably shouldn't tell professor hawthorne. ;)
