NAME Colton Taylor Dosel
NICKNAMES Colt, Taytay
AGE Eighteen years
GENDER Male
HOMETOWN Featherwing City
APPEARANCE
Colton isn't a bad looking guy. He wouldn't call himself the most handsome man out there, but he doesn't down his looks either. He has dirty blonde hair that falls just a bit longer than his ears, with a few strands longer in the front than the back. And his eyes seem to be a darkish yellow, with tinting of brown. He stands about Five feet ten inches, and weighs roughly around one hundred and sixty-eight pounds.
It all depends on his mood at the time on how his weight varies. But enough about that. His skin isn't exactly pale, but not tan either. Just in between, giving him a semi 'pure' look. But that never lasts long, especially with age. He's not too muscular either, but he's stronger than he looks.
He wears mostly jeans, black pants, and button-up, long-sleeved shirts. He doesn't care for the 'bad-boy' look too much, and doesn't care to be seen as 'holy', by wearing something that covers all, or isn't too stylish. He also sticks to black boots. He wears a single ring and bracelet on his right hand, in memory of his mother. And he has a small black tattoo of a snake on his right arm.
PERSONALITY
* Persistent // When it comes to certain things, he won't back down until its done - like a battle, or a conversation. A deep conversation, about things in real life. Things that can be passed up.
* Honest // He's not afraid to tell you what he thinks. He'll tell you straight to your face whether he likes you, or if he doesn't. Just don't take it too personal. He means no harm, really.
* Friendly // Though he can be honest, he is really easy to get along with. Even due to his past, he doesn't hold that against anyone, really. He just wants a friend.
* Civilized // He's well-mannered, and loves being around people and out in the society rather than stuck indoors, with nothing to do.
* Responsible // He's very focused. He likes to get things done, especially when its an emergency. Or when something pops up, he does his best to do what is required without procrastination.
* Intelligent // He wouldn't call himself the smartest out there, but he is well-informed on most situations, and especially Pokemon. While he was growing, and when he was able to get away from his home, not like it was hard, he spent his time studying about them - all the types. And even more, about the world that lays before him.
* Calm // Though he can be honest, when it comes down to it, when others get up in his face, he remains calm. There's no sense in getting all worked up over someone's flaws. He simply ignores them, or walks away, not wanting to fight. He's a lover, not a fighter.
* Stubborn // He likes to believe he is right about everything, and doesn't want to be told otherwise - even when he is infact wrong, he hates to admit it.
HISTORY
Everything's not all fun and games. Especially when your parents had to work their asses off to support two growing kids, such as Colton and his brother Callen. They worked almost day and night, switching shifts back and forth because they could hardly afford a babysitter. They could hardly even afford to feed the two boys. At first, the whole situation didn't really bother Colton. Not as much as it did his brother anyways. At least not til later on in life when it had actually sunk it. They had to find some way to help their parents, even if it was only cleaning and cooking, and all the other stuff around the house.
When the boys were around ten years old, their mother had lost her job, and depression had started to sink in, bringing her down. They had to let one of the boys go. Go somewhere else to say, perhaps with the grandparents, somewhere else. A tough decision they had, but Callen was starting to already backtalk them, so they had decided it was best to scoot him out the door. Callen was, however, a bit older than Colton anyways, and was capable of being able to get a job whilst in the prescence of the grandparents.
This had kind of made Colton mad. He stopped talking to his parents, because the only family member he had ever really known was now gone. He actually couldn't wait to grow up now - before it was all about being a kid, and being able to play with his toys. But not everything was all fun and games. His mother had soon let herself completely go. And soon, it was as if she wasn't there at all. She soon passed, leaving the father to raise Colton. But even the passing of his wife, he was hardly there for the child in his younger years.
They grew apart, more and more each day. And when Colton had turned seventeen, his father had passed away, leaving what little house they did to Colton. After it had sunk it that Colton had nobody, he decided it was time to do something else with his life.

HOW DID YOU FIND US? Someone advertised on another site i'm on. (:
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE The sun was going to be going down soon, sending the world in to inevitable darkness. Which was what this pooch liked best. It gave her a better edge, and she was able to hide in the shadows better than with the sun glaring down upon her. But the sun going down was meaning that everyone was soon to be leaving the zoo. A place where she loved to go and sit. Staring for hours at the creatures in their cages.
Snickers moved down the side of the street slowly, and snuck in to a bush, just outside the gate of the zoo, and watched as the last line of people were flooding to the parking lot to get in their cars and drive away. After the last had finally left, and the park manager had locked up everything, she paced slowly through the gates, looking to the left and right for anyone who might still be here, before continuing to where she loved to sit the most. At the habitat of the gray wolf.
They looked so much like some of the dogs she sees roaming the streets. So why aren't they allowed too? She lowered herself at the closest she can get to them, and tilted her head. Thoughts flooded to her mind, and there were times she was going to say something to them, but decided against it. She didn't know how they would react to such a small being - smaller compared to themselves, that is. In her own mind, Snickers thought she was the largest thing in the world - at least til she got around her gangmate, Mars, who was probably one of the tallest.
She shook her head, letting her mind focus back on the beasts in front of her. One of them neared the end of its cage, on the end where Snickers was sitting, and spoke. It was a male, and his voice was a bit raspy. "What are you doing, pup?" He asked, tilting his own head, and letting his tongue loll out the side of his mouth. Snickers blinked at the sudden question, then growled - though compared to his, it was like she was a squeak toy. "Just ... watching you." She replied, her voice quivering a bit. She was slightly intimated by the beasts. She was pretty sure if they wanted too, they could jump the fence, and attack her. Killing her in just a squeeze of their mighty jaws.
The wolf chuckled some, she could hear. But he hadn't responded yet. Another wolf joined him. A female, this time. "Oh Rynor, leave the pup be. She's just curious." The female spoke to the male, who growled slightly, before rolling his eyes and walking away from the pup, who in turn, also fled the scene.
She then began to wonder slowly around the zoo - stopping at each habitat for moments, just watching the creatures. She was a bit fascinated by them - and enjoyed seeing them act how they did without the humans around. Humans expected everyone to be perfect - to be on their best behavior. But they were clueless on what happened when they weren't around. Snickers growled again, now stopping at the canopied picnic tables in the middle of the park.
The aroma of food still lingered in the park air, making her a bit hungry. She tired to ignore it. Instead, she climbed on top of a park table, and sat, her ears perked, and listening intently to the sounds around her. More thoughts flooded across her mind - about her past, her present, and what the future was to bring. She wondered if she should actually give the other pooches in her 'family' a chance - especially Vantas, though he could be an obnoxious, loud, jackass. He was still the leader of them, and there were times that he would probably lead them both in to destruction and chaos, and also help them through the worst of times.
They all had to be there for one another. The little pups, and the big pooches. They were all the same in the end, and they all needed the comfort and protection of one another. That's why there were ranks, though, in the gang. To pick out who's good for what job. Such as her being picked for the warrior position - because she was good at fighting. It's what was in her bloodlines.
As the time wore on, the sun sunk little by little. And she sat there, dozing in and out - listening, and waiting.
Totaly - 760 ish words.
