Laqueta walked around the empty powerplant, feeling out of place. She had come to the building because she had been invited to a party for the shareholders of Lux Corp., and she had been told very firmly by her maid that it would have been rude to refuse the invitation. Normally Laqueta would have refused it regardless, but she hadn't had an excuse; she had been out in Featherwing City since the trial. It wasn't a matter of her refusing to come out of her home for anything, so she had written a polite acceptance and shown up at the party. As Laqueta had expected the party had been filled with beautiful, confident people and alcohol, neither of which appealed to her. She had asked if she could look around the industrial complex. Laqueta had been given a hearty laugh, a comment about trainers always wanting to train, and told the powerplant was close by. She didn't correct the man, instead thanking him quietly and slipping away.
The powerplant was a little eerie, but Laqueta liked it better than the overwhelming party. It had a calming silence to it. Though she didn't noticed it, she walked a little faster than normal, and sometimes she looked up at the plain white walls instead at the ground, a direct contrast to her normal way of walking.

Joltik had been out enjoying himself, absorbing energy at his own party with some other pokemon from the power plant when a human came in, disturbing them all. Almost all the pokemon had instantly scattered (minus those who wished to battle) and he was left standing there by himself, still absorbing the electricity from the plant. However, when the human went by smelling of one of their parties, he could not help but follow her. Humans were always so funny when drunk, especially when they grew lost and ended up somewhere they should not be.
He laughed to himself, crawling along the walls and ceilings, following his webs carefully, not wanting to fall or anything of that sort as he watched the human beneath him. He wanted to get a good view of her, to try and get some more entertainment since her arrival had caused all the other pokemon to run away from their social gathering. His little legs moved as quickly as they could to try and keep up with her. However, as he finally did, she looked directly up at him, causing him to stumble backward along the wall and loose his grip. Instantly, he went spiraling down to the floor, shooting silk in Spider Webs and Sling Shots this way and that way before he managed to catch himself inches from the ground.
Quickly looking at the human, the spider like pokemon turned himself around flipped back over, landing on his feet to look at the female. He felt sheepish, wondering if he had accidentally covered her in his sticky silk substance on his descent toward the floor. Still, he would admit it was a better landing than many of his previous ones when other pokemon had startled him, rather than a human. His head lifted and he made a funky noise, still startled from his fall. He made sure to show that he would defend himself, but he still looked more curious and embarrassed than anything else, taking a few cautious steps backward in case she decided to throw one of her pokemon at him.
