With a squeal and a skip, the Mareep -- with the small Budew on her back, clinging desperately to the wool -- threw herself straight into the water, sending a splash everywhere. Their trainer, standing far enough away to be clear of the flying water droplets, simply watched on in slight amusement. Entertaining the young baby pokemon, the Mareep splashed around in the water. Rosa, giggling, waved her small green arms around and squealed, delighted, whenever some water splashed her in the face. When Rydia wasn't a crazy maniac, she really was a complete sweetheart, apparently.
Sinclair had gone to the Waterworks in the hopes of training both the Mareep and the Budew, but it seemed that the both of them were too distracted by the crystal clear water to do anything of the sort. The trainer sighed. So much for that. What was with her pokemon, anyway? They never seemed to want to do what they were supposed to do. Rather frustrated, the woman glanced at her pokemon again. Watching them play around in the water, she rolled her eyes. "I suppose ... a little bit of this won't hurt," she conceded softly.
Playtime wasn't so bad, was it?
After an hour of frolicking around in the water, the pair of them were finally tired. Exhausted, Rydia clambered out of the water and settled, sopping wet, beside her trainer. On the Mareep's back was a snoozing Budew, nestled comfortably in the yellow wool of the electric sheep. Laughing softly to herself, Sinclair stroked her pokemon. "How am I supposed to train you now?" NOTES two sleepy pokemon in the midst of training. ohgeez. TAGS wild pokemon!

The little Wooper had watched excitedly in the water as a Mareep and Budew played up ahead. How she yearned to go and play with them, but for now, she would just watch. Giggling she spun in circles in the water, not paying attention to anything else around her, aside from a few other Wooper who warned her not to go near them. However, as the rest of them swam off, she remained in that spot, watching the two playing, not noticing her friends had left her behind.
When it finally dawned on her that she was all by herself, she giggled and dove into the water, swimming excitedly toward the other two. Still, she did not seem too good with direction and ended up swimming in the wrong direction and in circles many times before ending up where she wanted to be, only to realize the others had grown tired and gotten out of the water by this point. She still searched for them, again swimming in circles before popping her head out of the water and spotting the two pokemon and their trainer on land.
"Woo Woo" She called out to them excitedly, her round tail seeming to wag behind her. She wanted to play, could they not see that? She bounced up and down, continuously calling to them before playfully shooing a Water Gun toward the Mareep and Budew, hoping to splash them both with water. "Woop!" She called out again, still bouncing around as she splashed them with another Water Gun, this time hoping to get the human as well. She did not wish to get out of the water, knowing that it would result in her skin becoming poisonous as she could not just walk around without her film to protect herself, but from the water, she was safe and ready to meet these fellows.
A wide grin remained on her face and she seemed to be a little slow in anything that was not playing, but she still seemed friendly enough. Moving a little closer to the shore, she used a Mud Sport, more so hoping to keep herself from drying out than to protect herself. As she did not expect either pokemon to try any sort of real attack on her. Her large tail smashed down into the soft ground a few times, causing the water to become quite murky around her, but she still beamed happiness at these things.

The first one to notice the little playful Wooper was Sinclair; the woman glanced at the little blue pokemon, a bit amused. Rosa and Rydia, who were resting at her side, both glanced in the direction of the newcomer when Sinclair pointed in the wild pokemon's direction. The Mareep, tired from all of the playing, simply placed her head back down on her hooves and began to nap.
Rosa stared at the Wooper for a long minute, then literally tumbled head-over-heels as she scrambled to get off of the electric sheep's back. Giggling happily and wildly flailing her short, stubby arms, the Budew furiously pumped her puny legs in an attempt to reach the water -- and her new friend. "Deew!" the grass pokemon squealed. The first water gun made the pokemon nearly faint with delight. The water felt so good!
"Rosa, be careful!" Sinclair called, raising an eyebrow. That pokemon's naive enthusiasm was going to get her into trouble one day. The second water gun seemed to be aimed for all three of them, and Sinclair sighed as she felt some of the spray hit her. The brunette brushed off a few water droplets from her face, then looked back at Rosa.
Knocked over by the water, the Budew was laying on her back, speechless. "Bud ... ew?" the pokemon said quietly, a small quiver in her voice. The Budew rolled frantically to get off of her back, unable to get up -- not noticing the Wooper's approaches. After a few minutes of frantic rolling, Rosa stopped, still unable to stand up. "DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!" Rosa wailed. Her trainer sighed. The Budew was crying. Again. Sending up a flurry of leaves in her desperation, the grass pokemon began to attack the meanie Wooper with Razor Leaf. "BUDEEEW!" The Wooper watched curiously as the little Budew seemed to most excited by her Water Guns. Although they were not meant as any sort of real attack, she was still excited and might have used them a little harder than she meant to. Still, the two pokemon seemed pleased, the Mareep not moving much, but not upset by the attack, either. "Woo, Wooper!" She called out playfully to the Budew as it scrambled to its feet and took off toward her merrily. The Wooper jumped up and down, her smile becoming wider before she used the Water Gun the second time, also playfully. However, this time, it did not seem as calm, and actually knocked the Budew onto its back.
Tilting her head in wonder, the Wooper hoped that she had not hurt the poor thing and moved a little bit closer as it tried to move back onto its feet. "Woop?" She called out to it, stopping as the water became more shallow and she began to dry out a bit. Taking a step back into the liquid, she hoped that the Budew would be able to make it back to her feet. However, the way she moved about did not seem to be helping her and she finally stopped before crying and then using a Razor Leaf!
The attack hit the confused Wooper, hard. Standing there for a few moments as the attack hit her, she suddenly cried in response, leaves cutting up her slimier skin. "Wooper!" She wailed, hiding momentarily in the water as the attack continued in her direction. She did not understand what was happening. Only a few minutes before the Budew had wanted to play with her. Plus, she had not meant to knock it onto its back. Swimming to the side and out of the direct line of fire, she wondered if this was really another game. After all, she had only wanted to play and since the pokemon was now on its back, perhaps it had not really meant to attack her so hard. Smiling in her friendliest manner once more, she again allowed stray leaves to hit and slice her, no longer moving as they seemed to once again, not affect her much. Although she did feel the pain, it often seemed as if her flinching was delayed.
She moved to the more shallow water once more and looked at her friend before using another Water Gun. This time, she sprayed it into the air above the pokemon, not wanting to accidentally hit it again. Her smile remained, even through her occasional flinches before she decided the leaves and cuts were hurting and once again moved off to the side of the attack. She knew that the attack could not be a real one, especially since the trainer did not bother to do much besides look at her pokemon. If she had really done it, the Wooper was sure the trainer would have told her too or responded in some way, rather than just sitting there.

Sinclair frowned slightly. What was Rosa doing? The trainer regarded the flurry of leaves with slight worry, wondering if Rosa was really going to keep up the attacks. The little pokemon's small body was powerful, but it probably wouldn't be able to hold the attack for too long. While Rosa was wailing and rolling around and attempting to get up, the woman felt rather bad for the Wooper. It was getting the brunt of an attack -- one that it was extremely weak to -- simply because it wanted to play.
Carefully making her way to the downed grass pokemon while dodging the dangerous leaves, Sinclair quickly placed the Budew back on her short, stubby legs. Sin shut her eyes as another water gun flew above them, then quickly retreated back a few steps. As much as she wanted to play with Rosa -- the happier the pokemon was, the faster she would evolve of course, that was her only reason for wanting to play -- Sin didn't fancy another water gun sprayed at her. Knowing Rosa, she's most likely going ... to do something unexpected, the trainer thought tiredly.
Now that the Rosa was back on her feet, she staggered down to the water, making her way to the Wooper. The pokemon noticed the cuts and scratches on the water-type's skin, and began to flail about. "Dew! Budew!" the little grass-type cried, rushing forward. In a show of true idiocy innocence, Rosa began to pat down the Wooper, cooing unintelligible poke-speak (that sounded pretty much like "Buu ... buh buh deww!") in an attempt to console the injured Wooper. Wooper had almost forgotten about her newly aquired wounds as she moved toward the shore, looking at the Budew curiously as it stopped crying, the tall one having lifted it back onto two legs. She smiled excitedly at the pokemon as it had stopped its crying and her tail seemed to wag, although it was rather large to be swinging around like that. She danced from foot to foot as the Budew ran toward her, the human returning to what she had been doing before. However, while it seemed good at first while the Wooper watched her, it started to sink in that this could, in fact, be a bad thing. Watching the pokemon with widening eyes, she was not sure how deep into the water it could go, but sighed as she remembered having seen it playing with the other one earlier on.
"Woop woop!" She cried playfully at the Budew, only to realize that the reason it had ran out here was to point out her injuries. Tilting her head as they began to sink in once more, she realized that they did actually hurt. Letting out a few of her own wailing cries, they soon stopped, the pain seeming to have passed, or perhaps her mind had wandered back to the friendly grass type before her. She was tired, not wanting to attack and in some real pain from the attack that had been used on her (even if she did not really show it) and soon found herself flopping to her bottom, allowing the Budew to look at her cuts and bruises from the sharp leaves.
While this was going on, an angry male Wooper from before began to approach them, but stopped, realizing that the Budew would surely be stronger than himself. He had heard the female's cries and assumed it had been attacked by the Budew, to which he let out a threatening noise Not really a call but more of a grunt. He honestly did not care for the female Wooper that wished to play, but if the trio were out hurting pokemon, well he would have to put a stop to them before they had the chance to attack the ones he actually liked. He backed up a few feet, staring intensly at the four on the shore. He was not at all amused by whatever was taking place and was not at all afraid to attack them if he had to, not that he honestly wanted to. So for now, he would stay there and watch.
The first Wooper looked toward the second with a friendly smile, but quickly turned back to the Budew. She hoped to reassure it that she was really okay, that she could hardly feel the pain anymore. She tilted her head and splashed the pokemon with a soft kick of her feet. She liked these new creatures, they seemed like fun. She did not care what the other Wooper had to say and only hoped that he was not going to ruin her's and Budew's fun, only stick back and watch for any danger toward the rest of the group.

Rosa began to flail wildly as the Wooper cried out in pain. "Deew!" she cried, almost viciously consoling the Wooper. Not realizing that it was herself that had hurt the Wooper, Rosa continued to 'nurse' the wounds, patting them down and splashing water on the cuts. Scooping up a little bit of mud, she slathered it all over the Wooper ... apparently under the delusional assumption that the mud would help the Wooper heal faster. Splashing around, Rosa was having the time of her life simply tending to the wild pokemon and generally being her sweet, stupid self.
Sinclair's attention was turned away from her own pokemon by the appearance of yet another Wooper. "This one ... looks angry," she muttered under her breath. The woman didn't think that it was going to attack anytime soon -- from what she could see, it was fine with just watching for the moment -- but she didn't but it past the Budew to do something that would provoke an attack. As long as Rosa doesn't notice, it should be fine, the woman thought. After all, her pokemon was much too distracted by her injured 'patient' to do anything ... hopefully.
The woman was right; said Budew was still chattering away in her baby poke-speak, piling mud on the Wooper and washing it off with a few splashes. "Budew, budew!" the pokemon giggled, obviously at some sort of humorous thing she had said (but nobody could understand her, so did it really matter?). Rosa was perfectly content, sitting in the water and having some fun with the wild Wooper, and most likely would have stayed like that for a while if 'her' Wooper turned and smiled at something else in the distance.
The Budew turned to glance in the direction the Wooper had looked in, excitedly giggling when she realized it was another Wooper -- one that, in Rosa's mind, would definitely want to play with her! The grass pokemon turned back to the wounded Wooper, giggling at being splashed. In another little one of her 'speeches,' Rosa attempted to reassure the Wooper that she would be back soon, complemented by a few serene head nods and arm-waving. Then Rosa turned around and began to run toward the male Wooper, enthusiastically waving her arms about.
The brunette's eyes widened. "Rosa, don't go near it!" the trainer called.
Rosa, on the other hand, didn't hear her trainer, didn't understand her, or simply chose to ignore her -- either way, she innocently made her way to the newcomer with a wide smile on her face. NOTES fearless pokemon is fearless? TAGS wild pokemon!
