-- Picture of her will be drawn... sometime. Casella
--
Name Casella Du Marre
NICKNAMES Cassie, Marre
AGE 20
GENDER She is rather androgynous looking, but assures people that she is female.
HOMETOWN Bartonville Town
APPEARANCE
Casella is short, thin, and childish looking. It's quite difficult to tell her gender by looking at her body, but her eyes have long, thick eyelashes, and her hair is shoulder length, if rather messy. Her eyes are orange, and she always has a rather curious look to her. Her hair is a mint green, along with her eyebrows and eyelashes. Some suspect that she dyes them, but she isn't giving anything away. Her lips are thin, and her smile large... if not a bit forboding.
She wears a burlap, battered poncho, with various triangular patterns drawn on with orange dyes. She claims that it used to belong to her mother... if she ever decides to tell you anything. Her shirt is mint green, and has a lot of wear and tear, similar to the rest of her outfit. Resting on her petite nose is a pair of thick, oversized glasses, which have also seen much better days. It is suspected that she is far sighted. Her pants are tan, with frayed edges, and several sizes too large for her. Around her waist is a soft leather belt, with straps on it for her various Pokeballs. She prefers to keep it hidden, however. Inside her pocket is a pair of spare glasses, incase she ever breaks hers. Beneath her poncho is a backpack that was once mint colored... though it's quite dirty now. This carries all her food, spare sets of clothes (including an orange shirt, which she occasionally switches with her mint one), and other items.
PERSONALITY
The first thing you'll notice about Casella is that she doesn't speak. It's not that she can't- it's that she won't. She prefers to let people know what she's thinking in the way of body language, snickers, and writing on scraps of paper. The second thing you will notice is that she's much more annoying than she's worth. She'll move your things, switch the order of your Pokemon around while you're sleeping, and other things to make you generally angry at her. This, however, is really just her way of seeing if you are "worthy" of being her friend. If you stay calm and put up with her, you'll find she calms down quite a bit, and instead of taking things out of your pack, you'll find that she's slipped an Oran Berry in, and if you find one of your Pokeballs missing, you'll find it in the oddest spot, with the Pokemon inside leveled up a bit. If you are very lucky, she might even talk to you a bit! Her voice, however, is very quiet, and she is quite a snarky person- and you don't realize that you've been insulted until she's already made her escape.
If you are aggressive to her, however, you'll find her tricks getting nastier and nastier- until you catch her. Then, the bravado melts away, and she'll probably start sobbing. If you let her go, she'll run off- and you'll most likely never see her again. If you are her friend, she will protect you, and help you out when you least expect or want it. She adores her Pokemon, and other people's Pokemon, and is always seen cuddling them, even if they are big and aggressive and generally uncuddly.
HISTORY
Cassie was spoiled rotten by her mother when she was a young girl. She was an only child, and part of a fairly wealthy family at that. Because of this, she grew up with next to no manners, and recieved everything she wanted. However, with a series of bad business decisions, and financial pitfalls, her father's company bankrupted, and she soon found her comfy way of life disappearing, to be replaced with one more humble. She found her parents treating her harder, as her bratty "I want that, and I will get it." attitude would no longer suit them in this new situation.
She began to resent her parents, and made vows to leave home as soon as possible. People began disappearing from Bartonville soon after she left- her father being one of the first. She made her way to Featherwing City, and lived there for a while, doing odd jobs. While there, she learned more about life and how people should act, and is planning to return to her hometown sometime, to apologize to her mother (if she can find her). In the mean time, however, she is going to have a bit of fun with the other citizens of Nexivus, and maybe even make some real friends, as not many children liked her back in her hometown, for obvious reasons.
She is well aware of the tradgedy of the disappearing people that has hit Bartonville Town, however, and she intends to help out- after showing the gym leader what-for first, of course. She also intends to catch lots of Pokemon, to "Give them all snuggles." as she puts it.

OUT OF CHARACTER
NAME Fallingfeather, but you can call me FF or Feather or Falling- whichever suits you. X3
HOW DID YOU FIND US? Nyla gave me the link to this site, telling me about how awesome it's community was, and so I joined. :3
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE (I copy pasted this from another site I RP on, lol. My posts range from 150 words to this, usually.) Fallingfeather set down the carrier crate in the middle of her picket fence training area, a butterfly net in her other hand. She had just purchased two adorable Lola, and was looking forwards to teaching them a thing or two- kindly, of course. The net was to chase after Sola, should she escape. Luna, however, she knew she didn't have to worry about, as Luna wasn't the running away type. Sola, on the other hand, she knew would be out with a flash.
She could feel the throbs of nervousness from Luna, curiosity from Sola, and confusion from both as she fingered the latch to open the cage door. Just as she predicted, Sola was out before you could say "Lotine", and Fallingfeather managed to catch her with the net, and gently hold her. Luna floated out a lot more calmly, and stared at Sola. Eventually the yellow Lola calmed down enough that Fallingfeather could release her. She watched the two as the circled around in the air, playing with each other.
Their game was an... interesting game of tag. It appeared to start with Luna being "it", and then Sola trying to goad her into tagging her. However, Luna, with her easy going nature, wasn't the "tagging" type, and would instead just slowly drift around, causing Sola to have to fly close enough that Luna could tag her without even trying. Then Sola would race around a bit, trying to chase Luna, and being able to tag her with little to no effort. Then, the cycle would repeat.
