She mostly wanted to work on training her pokemon. Not really even her pokemon, just one in particular. Her little Riolu. She held the female pokemon in her arms lovingly as she followed Tsuki, her Houndour. She was not sure if she was supposed to be here, but had seen many other trainers enter the area before herself. Hoping to follow in their tracks and avoid the guards long enough to find a few pokemon, she allowed the Houndour to lead them wherever it wanted to go. Of course, she would not be the one battling, but she was the more dominant one of the team, and at times when Jackie decided to be on the safer side, she was the one pushing her forward, ready to leap into danger. Not to mention, the pokemon would protect her if anything bad happened. Plus, there was no doubt they would find something interesting to battle here! Jackie found herself beginning to slow as Tyr, the Riolu, was starting to feel heavier. Setting her down, she allowed the pokemon to run ahead with Tsuki while she watched them, waiting for them to decide which way to go now that they had made their way past the entrance. She knew that depending on where they chose to go from here would determine which type of pokemon they would stumble into and ultimately end up battling. Riolu stopped the fire and dark type and paused for a moment, trying to decide which way they should go, hoping to figure out where the pokemon she might have the advantage again would be residing, but she could not seem to remember which type it was. Finally, she motioned for the other two to follow her as she took off toward the Mines. Heading toward the darkend area, Jackie immediately sense the area was abandoned, which made her feel a bit more relieved. Not to mention, her Squirtle could get some trainer here as well! Stopping as they came to the dark tunnel that was the mine opening, she looked toward Houndour and grabbed the first small piece of ply-wood she could find. Holding it out, the Houndour used an ember attack to light the end on fire, which would help them see if they went further than the outside light allowed them to see. She tightened her ponty tail then released her Squirtle from its pokeball. The pokemon looked around worridly before running to her trainer. Crying, she begged to be picked up. Rolling her eyes, Jackie passed the flaming stick to Tyr before lifting up little Koda. The three females then traveled deeper into the mines where the hoped to find something for Tyr to battle. After that, they planned to continue forward so that Koda could try and find something to battle as well. However, Jackie was not going to promise this, as she was not sure if the water type could even handle a battle yet. Not to mention, she would have to make sure that after a first battle her pokemon were still well enough to go onto a second battle. Carrying the shelled pokemon, she followed close behind Tsuki, who in turn followed behind Tyr.
