Tsuki still wanted to battle, but when did she not? Jackie shook her head as her Riolu walked at her side, their strides perfectly in sync. As usual, Koda rested in her arms and she giggled as the thing cried and rubbed against her. Sure, its shell was not the most pleasant feeling, but she was already so attached to the happy little pokemon. She rubbed her head on the top of its as she looked around. She had been so worried about coming to the Lux Corp earlier today. In fact, she only really came because Tsuki had taken off and she had to follow the Houndour.
Now, they had been into the mines and she wanted to keep traveling. She made her way toward the Windmills, but the heat was starting to get to all of them. She sighed and settled down into the tall grarss, criss-crossing her legs, she sat Koda in her lap and watched as Tsuki rolled her eyes, trying to scamper ahead before coming back and sitting down with a grunt. She never wanted to stop. She was always wanting to battle and show off to the others, something that Jackie had a hard time keeping up with. The aggressive pokemon soon scooted toward her trainer, curling up next to her bum as she rested her head on her forepaws, figuring that if they were stopped anyway she might as well take a nice little nap.
Tyr followed the example, sitting down across from them before falling onto her back. Putting her arms behind her head, she watched the clouds over head, listening to Jackie baby the Squirtle. The thing was always so worried and nervous, but she did not care all too much. So long as it did not cause any unnecessary trouble. Try could soon hear Tsuki snoozing and quickly followed, dozing off as well. Jackie giggled as she continued to play with Koda, tickling her tummy and letting her run around as she would pretend to be about to chase her, only to sit back down. The pokemon was so far the strongest on the team, but was also the most worried all the time. She blew some bubbles at Jackie, which she happily popped, watching the pokemon as it ran about, much calmer now that Tsuki was asleep. But honestly, who was not?
Jackie yawned and considered a nap herself, but decided against it. If she took a nap now, she would not sleep tonight and then end up sleeping in till lunch time tomorrow. Which would get in the way of her adventuring. She sighed and decided to keep playing with the Squirtle until it grew tired. Her warm eyes looked around as the breeze allowed the Windmills to turn and hoped that none of the guards would catch them all out there resting. Glad that she had decided to wear pants today, she made sure that her necklaces and bracelets were all still correct, looking up and popping any bubbles that were blown directly at her, the Squirtle laughing and jumping each time.

It seemed nobody wanted to play these days. They were always so serious when it came to life. Come on, live a little! You only live once, right? Of course, the outbreak of Noctus Pokémon was not much to be happy about, however it shouldn’t ruin everyone’s livelihood! The happy-go-lucky normal type bounded from hill to hill, floating almost weightlessly as she fell toward each one. It was her latest game: Hill Top Hop-Scotch. Okay, so maybe she wasn’t the best at naming games, but at least she played them still! She giggled and rolled about as she came to another hill, thoroughly out of the breath but completely content with herself. Nearby a flock of Pidgey glared at her with such distaste, it would be a shock they enjoyed anything in life. She couldn’t help but frown at their cold eyes, but as she hopped away once more a smile soon found its way back. Her fun wasn’t going to be ruined by a bunch of feathered antagonists. After a few more bounds from hill to hill she came upon a small meadow. She giggled in delight and wallowed about in the beautiful pasture, pleased by its serenity.
Not to mention there was so much potential for games! …If only she had someone to share it with. Sadness slowly began to inch its way back into the Clefairy’s heart, up until she noticed a strange figure in the distance. Her ears twitching, she sprang up and quickly set to approaching it. When she was close enough she managed to make out a human and a small blue, turtle Pokémon. A Squirtle? There were two other Pokémon besides the human as well—the doggy-like Pokémon looking particularly intimidating—but was otherwise alone. She was doing something with that tiny water type of hers. Something with bubbles and popping them, an action that not only pleased her but the Squirtle as well. Was that…laughing the Clefairy could hear? It was! With a smile brightening up her little pink face, the fairy Pokémon sang as she attempted to join in on the fun, trying to pop as many bubbles as possible with the human. “Clefairy~!” Her giggle was similar to a gentle chime, a sound some would believe to be music to their ears.

She was surprised to see a Clefairy standing before her. Cocking her head she wondered what it had come for, surely not a battle by the looks of it. Which was a tad bit upsetting, but she did not mind too much. As Squirtle whined about her not popping any more bubbles as this pokemon distracted her, Jackie turned to look at her pokemon, her ever present smile returning. "Do you want to play too, Clefairy?" She grinned as she popped a few more of the bubbles the Squirtle continued to blow, the wild pokemon quickly jumping in to do the same. Her voice was very melodic and beautiful to hear and Jackie was glad that there was at least /one/ pokemon in the world that did not seem to scare little Koda. She really hoped the Squirtle grew out of this face by the time she was a Blastoise, at least.
Jackie seemed to be completely awake now, smiling and giggling with the pokemon as Koda blew a few bubbles at them before retreating to the tall grass. Falling over, she let out a cry, but in an instant Jackie was there, standing her back up and brushing her off. "See, you are fine," She smiled at her pokemon. "C'mon Clefairy, let's go play over here, that way we do not wake up those two," She motioned ahead after pointing to her Riolu and Houndour. Squirtle took off, looking over her shoulder every few moments to blow bubbles at the two behind her, in her own version of Tag! Her little feet did not seem to move as quickly as Jackie's could, but she still allowed the pokemon to run ahead a ways before tagging it gently (of course after popping as many bubbles as possible). Quickly dodging the turning Squirtle, it now ran to tag the Clefairy before blowing more bubbles into the air and helping them pop them. Oh, how she loved to play! Jackie smiled at the two pokemon and decided to take a breather, watching them play, for at least a moment while she stood to the side.
She had to admit, this was nice. While the two slept, Koda was finally getting some exercise, and she was too. Not that she did not walk everywhere... and not to mention carry her Squirtle while she did it. With that pokemon, it felt like she was /always/ lifting weights. Not that she minded, she loved Koda too much to really care, it was just a bit more of a pain than it needed to be, the majority of the time anyway. Her fingers tapped against her arm and she laughed loudly at the two pokemon, occasionally snorting and then blushing, but enjoying herself none the less. Continuing to pop any bubbles that came near, she wondered if this Clefairy often came near people. From what she had heard, they were usually wary of travelers.
