APPEARANCE
Laqueta is someone who would commonly be called beautiful, but this rarely shows. Her skin is a light brown that tans to a dark brown in the summer, and no blemishes can be found on it. Her hair is shoulder length with bangs, pure black, and glossy. Her face is elegant, with high cheekbones, full lips and a small 'button' nose, but her eyes are the centerpiece. They are very large with long black eyelashes, and coloured a dark rich brown that looks black from a distance.

At the height of five feet and four inches, Laqueta is a little shorter than average. She is curvy and well endowed; her body is almost a perfect hourglass figure, and she somehow manages to look slender as well. Her hands and feet are small and delicate looking.

All of this is covered by the extremely large battered gray jacket Laqueta wears, even in the summer. It has around twenty different pockets, none of which Laqueta uses.The sleeves are far too long which means that her hands are rarely seen. Her jacket has a hood, and it is rare to see her without it pulled up. Her pants are gray as well, but slightly darker than her jacket. They are also too large for her, and so pool around her feet. She tends to wear flip flops in the summer, and old sneakers in the winter. She does not wear any type of jewelry, makeup, or nail polish. Simply put, if it is designed to attract attention, Laqueta does not wear it.

PERSONALITY
Laqueta is timid. She's shy around new people, and dislikes correcting anyone. Occasionally she's even shy with people she knows well. Laqueta almost never offers her own opinion, but listens intently to others. The smallest criticism of something she has done or the way she acts causes her to apologize repetitively, and leave as soon as possible. She is easily embarrassed or made nervous, or both. Laqueta finds it hard to hide her emotions; she clasps her hand in front of her when she's upset and all of her other emotions have just as obvious tells.

She is naturally kind and always puts others before herself. This makes her excessively polite because she fears insulting anyone. She is very sensitive and worries about other people's problems most of the time. Perhaps because of this, Laqueta is willing to help anyone as long as she thinks that they need it. She works hard at everything she does, since she believes she can never do enough. Despite never defending herself, Laqueta will attempt to defend others, even when it might get her hurt. This is also the only thing that can make her angry. When she is angry all her normal personality fades in favour of an icy fury.

Laqueta is not a genius, but she has an above average intelligence, and she excels at making connections between pieces of information. Her memory is very good, and she easily finds solutions to problems if they don't involve herself. She applies logic well generally, but she often lets emotions cloud her judgment. Laqueta is superstitious.

She has a very well developed sense of right and wrong, but doubts herself. When Laqueta truly believes what she's doing is right she is calm and determined and could even be mistaken for someone confident. She will never give up.

HISTORY
Laqueta was born to her parents, Danielle and Bo Solaris, at one in the morning in the dead of winter. Until the age of nine, Laqueta spent most of her time reading, working in her garden, or doing either of these things with her father. Then her father died, and she was left in the care of her mother. The blond beauty had never cared much for her daughter, who took after her father. Danielle left Laqueta with a nanny most of the time, and when she did see Laqueta she made sharp comments about how childish she looked or how she would never do anything useful with her life.

When she was thirteen years old, on Friday the thirteenth, her mother became drunk at a party, fell into the river on her way home, and drowned. For two years she stayed in a foster home while her mother's family and her lawyer fought in court over who would get the fortune her parents had. At the age of fifteen she was given a state approved guardian and most of her family's wealth.

Her guardian, while not unkind, had very little time for her. Laqueta asked and was allowed to drop out of school, since she had enough money to last her entire life and it was clear that she had not been doing well since the death of her father. She spent most of the time before she was sixteen inside her mansion, only ever coming out to look after her garden.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
Rey sauntered out into Route One, feeling slightly unsettled. The bright, shiny red and white pokeball that he had slipped into his coat pocket refused to leave his thoughts. How could he be sure the pokemon would obey him? He knew that pokemon were as intelligent as humans, and he knew that humans couldn't be trusted. That meant there was no way the pokemon could be trusted either. Normally such a thing wouldn't bother Rey, but he was depending on the pokemon, and the idea of depending on anything he wasn't sure he could trust worried him.

Rey realized that he was frowning, and with a small effort he forced his face blank again and pushed his thoughts to the back of his mind. He had made his choice, and unless it proved unwise, he would keep to it.

He glanced around the deserted path of Route One, feeling smile tug at his lips at he noticed the destruction of the forest around him. Humans at their finest, he thought with dark amusement.
