ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
Prior to attending Phoex, Lily wasn't easily stressed. Her mom was an overbearing, strict, scary ass mofo but she always defended her actions with “being stressed”. If being stressed meant anything like what she's witnessed, then Lily wanted to stay very far away from anything that required responsibility. Besides coordinating, of course. Which was basically dressing up in pretty clothing and prancing around, but. It needed some responsibility on the trainer's part, to keep the brats pokemon happy. Yet, already at the end of her second year, Lily wound up being incredibly involved in her classmate's affairs, breaking into dorms, honing her hacking skills, spying in the boys changerooms, plotting the destruction of those who stand in the way of her matchmaking, and stalking the hot as hell asian boys that seemed to be everywhere on campus.
All of these incredibly important hobbies of hers kept the brunette away from what she went to this school for in the first place. Coordinating. Her pokemon. All practically ignored in favour of finding a way to marry one of the boys here without them actually being involved. (Or investigating the best possible way to literally steal a first year boy and keep him in her closet without being arrested.) Her pokemon were weaker than the other coordinators and somehow she didn't know about the two contests recently. It would be for the best, since she'd get pummelled in the battle round.
With a few exceptions, like her Luvdisc, Floatzel, and new Ampharos, her pokemon were all level five. It was time for some training.
They were lazy. Obviously, since they haven't had a real battle in so long. Ughh, she had way too many pokemon and spent the past two weeks choosing who to take with who to where and when and how and ugggghhhhhhhhh. For once in her life Lily was stressed and it wasn't a pleasant feeling. She felt horrible for essentially neglecting her team, though, so in the early hours on a Saturday she packed every pokeball she owned, the scheduled pokemon for today, her backpack full of medicine, and the two eggs she was trying to hatch. She wanted an open space at first; somewhere like the Plains or a field. But considering who she was taking with her she wanted someplace calm and small where the pokemon were weak.
Daphne quacked obnoxiously, brining Lily back to reality. The Ducklett looked dumbly at Lily with her usual herp derp face and suddenly the coordinator felt the urge to punt her to Sinnoh and back. “Okay,” Lils grumbled, rubbing her temples. “Let's try this again. Daphne, I want you to use Water Gun on that boulder.” She nudged the spaced out Ducklett with her foot, trying to turn it in the direction of the boulder. When they arrived at the Falls Lily drew a red circle on the huge boulder for aim practice. “Right in that circle, understand?”
Qhuonk, Daphne honked, after staring at the boulder for a good ten minutes. She waddled clumsily and took her position facing the boulder completely void of any wet spots. Lily felt her eye twitch viciously when another five minutes passed with Daphne staring once again at the damned boulder. The Ducklett turned suddenly, and looked at Lily in confusion.
Qhuuuuuuoooooooo –
“Water gun,” the brunette snarled, interrupting Daphne's wail of despair. SEETHING!Lily resembled an angry harpy or banshee, with her expression squished and ugly while her entire face turned red. She felt like hitting something. Or spreading horrible rumours. “WATER GUN, DAMMIT. How many times do I have to say this, Daphne!”
Iggly... a small hand tugged on her bright pink stockings, eyes filled with worry for her trainer and pity for her teammate. Nana rolled to Lily's feet from her original place beside the Poliwag egg. She was supposed to train after Daphne was done her warm up but at this rate Lily would need to train again tomorrow. The eggs needed warming, anyway. Lily took a deep breath and gave Daphne a stern glare (“Quoooooooonk~”), crouching to pat Nana on her soft head – err, body.
“When are you gonna hatch...” she murmured solemnly, giving the Squirtle egg (in the bright pink baby carrier strapped to her front) an eskimo kiss. “At least I'd have another water type on my team that won't be a complete idiot.”
